About Tanika
Tanika Fitzgerald is a woman of many roles. She is a daughter of Christ, wife, mother, author, marketing professional, entrepreneur and speaker. She has inspired thousands of women around the world through speaking at conferences, radio shows, television appearances, books and articles. Her passion, honesty and transparency makes her an inspiring voice for all.
Pain has a way of catapulting you into purpose. Tanika recently walked through a season where she questioned her purpose and ran from her calling. Of all the roles that life brings, Tanika was most excited about becoming a mother. But the road to motherhood was unexpectedly challenging. She and her husband endured the loss of three babies through multiple miscarriages, and then a season of unexplained infertility followed. This left her broken and questioning God’s plan. It was in that place that her purpose became clear.
Tanika is the author of Miscarried Joy: Moving Beyond Incredible Pain to Extraordinary Faith, the visionary behind ARMED Magazine, The ARMED Woman and creator of The ARMED Woman Journal – a spiritual growth tool to help women choose relationship with God over routine. Tanika has also interviewed powerful voices in the Christian Community including, Lady Serita Jakes, Sheryl Brady, Charles Jenkins, Earnest Pugh and more!
Tanika repeatedly chose faith over fear, patience over frustration and allowed her pain to be the catalyst for her purpose. Now, she is dedicated to teaching and empowering women to do just the same while deepening their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Tanika knows that spiritual battles don’t just show up in our lives to challenge us, but to change us. She is a powerful voice to women who need to either learn or be reminded of how to use the armor of God to live victoriously. She is most passionate about equipping women to grow spiritually, unapologetically walk in their unique calling and be ARMED for victory & success in every area of life.
Tanika lives in the Greater Chicago area with her husband and daughter. When Tanika is not writing, speaking or serving in ministry, she can be found spending time with her family, traveling the world, bowling or reading a good book with her favorite cup of tea.
